Suggest Remedies For Severe Cough While Recovering From Bronchitis

Good morning, and thanks. I am two weeks post acute bronchitis diagnosis. Had 7 day antibiotics (oral) and had shot at urgent care and am on inhaler. I am fever free now but have a lingering deep cough that keeps me awake at night. Should I return to urgent care or family doctor even if I no longer have a fever? Thanks!

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the common cause of such cough symptom could be allergic disorder and it will take little more time to come around you need to be patience, it is better to get done the x-ray of chest if it is not being done, symptomatic medicine can be tried like "Dextromethorphan" cough drops, antihistamine can be used if needed like "Chlorpheniramine maleate hope this information helps.
I find this answer helpful
