Suggest Remedies For Severe Dizziness And Headache

suffer dizziness, not always. Eating/drinking does not seem to help. have semi-high blood pressure. But I just took it and it was 120/80, pulse 94 -normal. almost feels like I might pass out but I don t. Doctor has prescribed blood pressure meds, but I am afraid to take them. Had a bad experience with them about 3 months ago. I get headaches right above my eye on the right side, sometimes the left also. But I think that maybe cause by to much salt in my diet which doesn t help the bp. I just feel lost as to what to do. I am 55, female, smoker, BMI 30.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms are consistent with common causes like a migraine or a tension headache, as first-line management, you can try analgesics like aceclofenac or tramadol for pain relief.

If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI brain to rule out possible intracranial (inside the brain) causes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
