Suggest Remedies For Severe Leg Pain Post An Injury

Last night I uncrossed my leg and I felt something tear or snap below my knee cap where the patella tendon I think attaches. Incredible pain and couldn t use my leg at all. Went to to bed with ice and woke up this morning and it felt better, a little sore but better? What gives?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to the injury, probably tendinitis.

I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen for the pain.

I also suggest using cold compresses at the painful area.

I recommend to do an x ray to exclude a fracture.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
