Suggest Remedies For Severe Pain Around Shoulders And Arms

I am having trouble out of my left shoulder and arm. When I try and raise it the pain is horrible and sometimes when I try and swing it back and forth the joint pops....I m also sore in other places like around my shoulder blades and in places on both my collar bones. The pain in my shoulder is worse in the morning. Trying to weight bear on my left arm is almost impossible and my husband has had to help my pull shirts over my head and on my left side. Sleeping at night with the pain is close to impossible

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a pinched nerve in the shoulder. I suggest using anti inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen 400 gm three times a day. I also suggest to maintain the area immobilized to prevent further damage. If the symptoms continue, I suggest to see a neurologist for further evaluation and a specific treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
