Suggest Remedies For Severe Pain In My Ankle After A Surgery

I had my 6th ankle surgery 5 months ago and it still hurts really bad. My surgeon just blows me off so I got a second oppion. He advised me that he thought that I needed to do PT (physical theropy) I have gone once and not returned because it hurt like you know what to where I couldn't hardly walk for 3 days. If anyone has any idea on what step I need to take next than please let me know. thanks
