Suggest Remedies For Sharp Pain In The Lower Back Radiating To The Hip And Leg

Hi. I have sharp pain starting in my left lower back radiating to my left hip and leg that is stopping me from moving from one position to another. I m only ok when I stay still, reaching for an object with my upper body while having an episode causes greater pain.

Hi welcome to the health care magic

You are having sharp pain lower back and radiating to leg..

Your physical examination and detail clinical history needed first...
There might be spondylitis of lower lumbar vertebra or disc herniation or degeneration like problem causing nerve compression

So after examination if needed MRI scan done for detect spinal lesion..

According to cause specific treatment given

If no organic cause present than muscle or ligament or tendon tear attached to spine might be the cause for which rest taken and brufen given

Hence with keeping all this in mind consult orthopedic surgeon for examination and further work up
