Suggest Remedies For Small Pus Filled Bumps On The Tongue

My husband had several "lie" bumps pop up on his tongue over the last few weeks( it's been very stressful for him at work) the pain has been increasing for him to the point that he is distracted by it, and he doesn't want to talk or eat. The bumps are mostly gone now, but in the right side of his tongue, he has developed holes that are side by side and almost resemble vampire bites. He has tried salt water and gargles, but nothing alleviates it. any advice? He does not have any illnesses that we are aware of.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

It looks like you are suffering from a severe case of Apthous Ulcers or Canker Sores and an ulcer over the tonsil seems to be due to either a canker sore or infection in throat..
But as you do not have other classical features of mono like fever, cold etc it does not seems like mono..

I would suggest you to start gargling with warm saline solution.
Gargle with a numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine..
Take a Vitamin B complex daily..
You can take anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen..
Avoid spicy and hard foods..
Take a soft and bland diet..
You can also suck ice and do cool water rinses..
In case of no improvement consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..
