Hello thanks for asking from Health Care Magic
You are a young male with main complaints of fearfulness and low mood from others. The fear has resulted in frequent fights with family members. You have feelings of being neglected, and you are not able to respond when someone calls. It appears that these symptoms are probably due to
social anxiety though more details are needed to confirm diagnosis. The recurrent difficulties in responding has resulted in low confidence and poor social functioning which is causing frequent fights with family members.
I would suggest you to talk to your parents and
consult a Psychiatrist for treatment. Some time just some behavioural methods like assertive training, relaxation exercises result in improvement of conversations. Try to play outdoor games which will increase your confidence.
If condition doesnt improve by behavioural methods then medicines are needed. Commonly medicines like
Propranolol or low dose
benzodiazepine are used for social anxiety. These medicines help to decrease anxiety and result in improvement. In other patients with more depressive symptoms medicines like SSRIs as
Fluoxetine,
Sertraline etc can be prescribed. These drugs help to reduce depressive symptoms and anxiety. All these drugs are prescription drugs so consult a psychiatrist first for these drugs.
Thanks, hope this helps you
