Suggest Remedies For Sore And Swollen Skin After Waxing

Today I used the Nair hair removal on my bikini area. The one I used was specifically that area and now it s extremely sore and swollen. It hurts to urinate, what could I use to sooth it. I have tried Salvon is there anything I can take to reduce the swelling. Thank you

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sore and swollen skin after waxing which seems to be due to increased localized body area temperature. It leads to formation of blisters at times and it is due to increased skin sensitivity. Need not to worry. First of all apply some cooling gel like aloe vera gel and drink plenty of water and take shower in cool water . Take ibuprofen or paracetamol for pain and swelling , do not pick or peel your skin. Do not apply sunscreen to rashes or open wounds . If you develop any blister or get fever , headache ,confusion or swelling around mouth immediately consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment. Doctor may start treatment after complete examination.
