Suggest Remedies For Sore Throat, Fever And Bumps On The Neck
I scheduled an appt with my GP for Monday, but they are very slow. I have severe sore throat that started the same day as my siatic pain. I dont have a fever, and besides the pain I feel fine. There are three bumps on the right side of my neck, and two an inch above my collarbone that I noticed yesterday. Just wondering if I should try to get in sooner to my dr.

Hello,
It could be due to pharyngitis or inflammation of the throat.
Consult a general practitioner and start a short course of antibiotics preferably amoxclav.
Do warm saline gargles also.
If symptoms persist you can consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated. In severe cases, a throat swab can be considered.
