Suggest Remedies For Soreness And Sensitivity In The Skin Around A Surgery

I had basil cells removed from my chest (near collar bone area) about 1 months ago. The scar looks good, but the area around the scar is sore & very sensitive to touch. I have been beck to the dermatoligist twice. First he tried having me put Topocort on it twice a day 9did not help). then yesterday, gave me a shot under the skin & said this might help reieve the discomfort. He thinks this will all be OK in time, but I am very concerened. Does this sound normal or should I seek a 2nd opinion?
