Hello. I am 53 male. Normally great health. Have had a history of gall stones and I believe I am passing one now. However this is accompanied by oval red skin rashes about inch long. They are sporadic around my upper mid-drift. Doesn t inch or burn but looks awful. Should I go to the Doctors?
Red spots on the skin can be due to different possible causes. A very common cause is urticaria due to an allergic reaction. Fungal infection is a possibility as well. You will need a visit with your doctor to determine the exact cause and get the proper treatment.
I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
