Hi,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of spreading itchy rash on the arm which can occur due to contact dermatitis, an animal bite, and could be due to allergic reaction. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may take history and after complete examination will prescribe antihistamine medications along with corticosteroid ointment. For now you should maintain complete hygiene and avoid itching and scratching of rash. You should apply cold compresses and avoid any cosmetic product. Keep area protected from sunlight as well.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari, Dentist
