Suggest Remedies For Stiffness And Pain In My Knee After A Ligament Tear

Hi My name is Nicky, I am a female 24 years of age. About 2 months ago I stretched the cross ligaments in my knee.I wore a brace for 3weeks and was on crutches for 4 weeks. Lately my knee has been painfull and stiff.Last week I bent to pull out a plug and my knee gave way from under me. Yesterday I got up from my chair it my knee felt like it got stuck.It felt like two ragged parts were dragged over each other. After that it was painfull for a while and stiff. When I get up in the mornings it is stiff and sore when I walk. SHould I just be patient or should I go see someone?
