Suggest Remedies For Stomach Soreness Post Overeating

I have had a stomach problems when over indulged with sweets and just over eating. I have been more careful to eat lighter meals and avoid the sweets and too many fruits and tomatoes which maybe what bothers me. I have a little nausea but not bad and a now a sore back (worked I in my garden yesterday which probably cause that but concerns me none the less) I do have IBS but it doesn t usually bother me. My main questions is what can I do to relieve the stomach soreness?

Hello,

* Post heavy meals stomach ache and discomfort can be best tackled with

- avoidance of a meal or supper
- avoidance of dairy fat, non-veg, junk foods
- consuming liquids in more quantities at various time intervals
- walking in fresh air
- pranayam and anulom vilom as YOGA and meditations
- proton pump inhibitor as omeprazole or pantoprazole with sips of water on empty stomach
- antacid syrup as mylanta or else 3-4 times a day if there is no simultaneous intake of cardiac drugs or else to prevent drug interaction issue
- avoid smoking, alcohol if consuming
- manage to have sound regular sleep of 7-8 hours
- avoid sleeping immediately after meals or dinner
- keep your stomach empty by 20 % of the satiety level.
