Hello,

Pain due to sunburns are treated with a cold compress, keep the skin cool, avoid touching or scratching the blisters if formed.

Apply locally aloe vera based cream, soframycin (silver sulfadiazine) or burnol ointments, they are effective.

For pain take Ibuprofen (advil) or acetaminophen (tylenol).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
