Suggest Remedies For Swelling And Burning Sensation In Ankles And Feet
Hi Dr. Right now, my feet and ankles are swollen and I am experiencing a burning sensation in my feet as well. What home remedy can I try to get some relief I am also currently taking meds for PAH which I believe swelling is one of the side effects.
I am sorry for the situation you are going through.
Let me recapitalize your case: - personal history of PAH - actually having swollen feet and ankles, burning sensation in the fett
PAH (pulmonary arteries hypertension) is a life-threatening condition characterized by increased blood pressure in the arteries passing from your heart to the lungs. This is because these arteries of the lungs are narrowed and heart finds it difficult to pump blood into the lungs. This can lead to heart failure. The result is that blood will remain in the periphery without being drained properly. This can also cause clinically the swollen ankles and feet.
The bad blood circulation is also causing burning sensation in the feet.
For this, you should consult with your pulmonologist and cardiologist to change therapy or increase the dosage of the meds you are currently taking.
Hope it was of help. Dr.Albana
