Suggest Remedies For Swelling And Pain In Forearms

hi, i broke my arm 4 years ago and had alot of sugery on it. After one op i had compartment syndrome for which i had a faciotomy. Im back riding horses and at the weekend rode a strong horse and eventually had to give up because my arm started to hurt. It is now painful slightly swollen on my forearm, I have numb fingers and my thumb is weak and partly paralysed. Is this the compartment syndrome again? Would co codermol and diazepam help? thank you
