Suggest Remedies For Swelling And Redness At The Site Of A Bug Bite

so i got a bug bite on my thigh and at first it was just swollen and red and like a normal person even though i know i m not suppose to, i scratched it because it was itchy and then the actual bite part had a little scrab over it and the other day it came off and it was bleeding so like a pimple i squeezed out the blood and the extra fluid as well and then i put a band aid over it and i just took it off and now it seemed to have gotten worse and it seems like there is a blood blister with some other stuff in it and my whole thigh hurts really bad.

Swelling and pain at site of bug bite are normal findings.These symptoms may always pass without any particular treatment.However, the site might get infected and may manifest with bleeding, fluid/pus seeping out.In this case, you will need antibiotics, anti-inflammatories and antiseptic cleaning.I will advise you try the following
-Take a pain/anti-inflammatory drug like ibuprofen
-A penicillin group of antibiotic like cloxacillin
-Wash the bite site with an anti-septic solution like cyteal and regularly press any fluid or pus out.
