Suggest Remedies For Swelling Es And In Eyes And Face After Swimming In Chlorinated Pool

Hi. My son is 6 months old and we have taken him to a chlorinated swimming pool twice. Both times his whole face and eyes have puffed up. This is not immediate but happens overnight. Could this be an allergic reaction. He has a cows milk allergy and therefore I am aware this may make him prone to other allergies?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is likely a reaction to the chlorine.

When he is older you can consider allergy testing to confirm this. This can be done via a blood test.

I hope this helps
