Suggest Remedies For Swelling In The Cheeks Post An Accident

our 80 year old grandmother had a bad fall yesterday and has swelling on her cheek and an extremely bad black eye with a lot of fluid buildup under the eye socket. She is due to get a long haul flight 24+ hours back from sydney to the UK in a week - will she be ok to fly or should we try to change her ticket.

Hello,

Most probably she has succumbed facial bone fractures and that might have lead to edema and swelling of face.

It is better to get a CT scan done before flying.
