Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that due to traumatic injury there is soft tissue injury and there seems to be a possibility that there has been dislocation of lower jaw at the site of jaw joint..
This is leading to difficulty in occluding the teeth and swelling is due to soft tissue inflammation..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Surgeon and get evaluated and he can take a full mouth x ray known as Orthopantomogram [OPG] to rule out for possible jaw dislocation and if it is found reduction manually or surgically will be planned..
For swelling do cool compresses over the swelling..
Take Motrin for reducing inflammation and pain..
Take a soft diet..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
