Suggest Remedies For Swollen Hands, Wrists, Arms And Legs Caused By Thyroid Problems

I have alot of swelling.. . my hands, wrists and arms and my legs...I don t seem to be heavy from weight as much as it seems like water retention. I have been diagnosed with slight thyroid and am on 25 mg of thyroid medecine...I told doctor about swelling and she seemed to think it was nothing noting that the swelling in my legs seems to onset during the day (given when I wake up, my legs are not even close to the size they are by night time)...my sister suggested water pills...

Consult a physician and get evaluated.

The symptoms are typical of severe hypothyroidism (low thyroid hormone). You have to start on drugs like Eltroxin to correct the thyroid status.
