Suggest Remedies For Swollen Left Nostril And Nasal Drainage
Not a lot of Clear mucosa, swollen shut left sinus only, two plus weeks, claritin, phenylalanine, dyhdromine doesnt touch it. Sprays not working either. Seems like both sinuses would be effect. Right side a little drainge but not much no swelling. Cant sleep. Driving me nuts. I am sniffler blowing makes it worse.
Sinus symptoms can be irritating and difficult to deal with.
You mentioned antihistamines, sprays (assuming decongestants sprays such as otrivine and steroid sprays like nasonex, flonase) and possibly decongestants . The most common decongestant is phenyephrine.
You mean medications such as ketotifen, montelukast. These work in different spots of the allergy pathway. If these are not effective , a short course in oral steroids may be needed.
Allergy testing to find out what provokes your reaction may also be very helpful as well because then you can reduce or eliminate your exposure.
I hope this helps
