Suggest Remedies For Swollen Lymph Nodes On The Left Side Of The Face

For about 2 months I have had swollen lymph nodes and and a feeling of the left side of my face feeling funny. not necessarily numb or anything just different. My left eye tears periodically without any cold or sinus symtoms, the very back of my tongue feels slightly achey, mild headache and mild ear pain. No sore throat, teeth feel sore, been to the dentist and things are ok. Doctor suggested MRI but insurance denied it, so now am scheduled with a neurologist but can t get in til April.

Hi,

Swollen lymph nodes need quick evaluation. There are many causes of swollen nodes, infections top the list. Combination of neurological issues with swollen nodes is seen in some diseases like TB, Sarcoidosis, lymphomas etc. If you are getting delayed with MRI, I would recommend you to undergo FNAC of the nodes which could help in the diagnosis. All the best.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vaddadi Suresh
