Hello,

I can understand your concern. It seems that you have either developed a viral infection which goes with the other systemic symptoms you are suffering from or have developed an allergic reaction to some allergen that you are not aware about.

If it is a viral infection, then it will subside on its own in 7-10 days as the body's immunity will take over and only supportive therapy can be given. You can start taking Vitamin B supplements such as B-Folcin once a day for 15 days. In addition, you should start Rabagen throce a day for 20 days. These supplements will help to heal the ulcers faster. In addition, you can apply local Benzocaine gel (Mucopain) 3-4 times a day specially before meals so that you will not feel burning pain while eating.

In case it is an allergic reaction, you can start taking Loratidine 10 mg (Lorfast) once a day for 5-7 days along with the above mentioned medicines. The white coating on the tongue could be due to inadequate tongue cleaning because of the ulcers and it will clear once you will start cleaning it better after healing of ulcers.

If the condition does not improve in 1-2 days and does not sunside in a week, then you should see a dentist for physical examination of the ulcers and further investigations for the diagnosis and treatment.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
