Suggest Remedies For Temporary And Non-painful Red Spots On Ankle

What could the small circular red spots be that appear on the lower leg and ankle area? They appear and then go away. There is no pattern to how long they stay. They are bright red and no bigger than an pencil eraser. Some are smaller and don t seem to get any bigger. I can feel something only when I touch them. I could have 1 on one ankle and then maybe one on the other calf.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

The spots could be due to Pigmented Purpuric Dermatosis. Pigmented purpuric dermatosis is a harmless condition but it is important to rule out other conditions. So, I advise you to consult your Dermatologist for further management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
