Suggest Remedies For Tiny Bumps Behind The Neck, Chest And Shin

Hi, I was at a friends country place up n a farm, there are no farm animals, just two kittens and a little dog. We went swimming in the quarry a few times, which happens to be REALLY low this year, but it was still clear, and open to swim in.. It was a very warm week end, and I spent more time in the sun than I did all summer, and was perspiring more.. When I woke up the second day, I found little, tiny bumps on the back of my kneck, and then I noticed they were on my chest, chin, and the front of my kneck as well... They aren t itchy, or red... But they are annoying me... Any idea what it is?

Hi,

As per your query, you have symptoms of tiny bumps behind the neck, chest and shin which seems to be due to hives, heat rash, contact dermatitis, and eczema.

Need not to worry. For now, keep your arm clean and dry, do not apply any cosmetic product and take an antihistamine like Benadryl. Protect your skin from direct sunlight and apply cold compresses on it. If the condition doesn't get well then consult a dermatologist for proper examination. The doctor may order a blood test, skin patch test along with physical examination. The doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants, corticosteroid along with antibacterial or antiviral depending upon the diagnosis.
