You have Widal (positive) & want to get back to work at the earliest then you should visit ER. You need a proper course of medications & treatment as recovery usually takes 7-10 days.
If you stay back at home, you will take time to recover. You need intravenous fluids & immediate medical aid.
Take food that is boiled & porridge. Take small amounts of food 6-7 times a day. Take medications under s Consultant. You need antibiotics, Ceftriaxone/ Azithromycin. Syrup Aristozyme to help in digestion. For relieve from pain take Acetaminophen(Tylenol).
Burning of eyes & limbs are cause of dehydration along with Na, K depletion in your body. Take plenty of water, soups, juices. Stay hydrated, take adequate sleep.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
