Suggest Remedies For Wavy Ripples In Vision

I am having a wavy ripple in my vision. It starts just below my vision when I stare straight ahead and curves around to the top of my vision. I can see it whenever I cover either eye. I don t wear glasses or contacts, I don t have a headache, I feel fine. This has never happened before.

Hello,

Cannot say in your particular case, but generally, if it is both eyes it is hard for it to be a stroke. There are a lot of possible eye problems. Cataracts or other deformities of the lens.

Changes in the shape of the eye due to glaucoma or retinal problems or diabetes. Having an ophthalmologist just look in them would likely diagnose it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Matt Wachsman, Addiction Medicine Specialist
