Hi,

Of course, it can be. Actually, your ejection fraction is low and you have a heart pumping which is not optimum. Drugs might have been started by your cardiologist which includes a diuretic which needs to be taking in morning hours and which decreases the load on heart thereby increasing heart contractility.

Avoid strenuous activities as it increases metabolic requirements of the heart and fluid may fill in the lungs due to backflow caused by a weak heart.

Be compliant with your medicines, control your blood pressure and sugars well, decrease salt intake, avoid salt-rich junk and trans fat and get periodic echo test and cardiac consultations.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
