Suggest Remedies To Confirm Pregnancy
Hi, I'm 27 year old female. My period is 10 days late and I think I might be pregnant. I tried to take the home pregnancy test, but I've not got a positive result yet. i've few questions now.
1) When can I visit a doctor to confirm the pregnancy? My mom says it will not show up till 45 days into the pregnancy. But my husband and I are eager to know if I'm pregnant. So please advice me when exactly can a doctor detect if I'm pregnant.
2) Can I eat chicken now. My mom cooked my favorite chicken today. But one of my friends advised me not to eat anything that create body heat like pine apple, sesame etc. I've heard in the past chicken increases body heat. Can I eat chicken now?

Did you have regular cycles before? The urine pregnancy test is quite sensitive. However there can be false negatives.
1. Visit your doctor now and do a blood pregnancy test. If there is pregnancy the blood pregnancy test becomes positive 2-3 days before the due date of period. This is a very reliable test. If it is positive , you are pregnant. If it is negative you are not pregnant. Occasionally a menstrual cycle can be delayed without apparent cause and you may be having one such cycle.
2.You can eat your favorite chicken. It is no adverse effects on pregnancy.
