Suggest Remedy For AVN In Hip

Respected sir,
I m deepak d deshpande
From Daman.
Sir , i m doing a job here ,i have same problem (AVN) as Dr.Suhas Khanvilkar, my right hip is at stage 2 & left is at stage 1. Please give me the advice for this problem,Can it will be covere by the same tritment of cell theraphy.if ok than what i can do ,where to go & how to do,Please gide me .

Hi despande,

I suppose you are suffering from sickle cell disease. if AVN of neck of femur is proved you need to go for hemirthroplasty. Buy your sickling percentage has to be measured. You may need a red cell excange before the hip replacement. I understand MIOT hospital chennai is the best for such surgical procedures. .
