Suggest Remedy For A Cyst In The Ovary

I have a 4cm cyst on my ovary. I am going to the gynecologist for the first time very soon to have it checked again, because the pain has increased. What can I expect when I go there? Will they only do an ultrasound? What if I'm not comfortable with them examining my genitals, or would they even have to? We are going mainly for treatment options.
