Suggest Remedy For A Large Uterine Fibroid

I was told that my recent ultrasound showed a large uterine fibroid that is 14.5 inches by 14.2 inches in size. I was also told that it is degenerating or dying because of inability to supply blood to it. I've decided to put of a hysterectomy until this fall but I'm worried about the situation. Exactly how big does this possibly weigh? and can it become incapsilated and burst or anything?
