Suggest Remedy For A Pigmentation Problem

Hi. I am 39, Had pimples when I was 12. For last 22 years I don't get it, but I still have scar and pigmentation from it. What would you suggest for me for get rid of it. I live in Ahmedabad. Should I see a Plastic / cosmetic? If yes who is best in Ahmedabad. Please advice me.

Hello,
Thank you for posting on HCM.
I can understand your concern regarding the pigmentation and scars on your face.
Usually the treatment of pigmentation involves regular application of depigmenting agents and sunscreen gel along with procedures like chemical peeling/microdermabrasion or laser therapy.
While on the other hand, there are hardly any topical meications which can reduce your scars thus leaving us with the options of procedures like Dermaroller or fractional Carbondioxide laser, which work very well for scars.
Its difficult to guide you along the perfect management unless I can access the severity of your pigmentation and scarring.
Therefore, I insist you to post good clinical pictures to me so that I can help you in a better way.
