Suggest Remedy For A Protruding Vein Running Down The Face

Hello, I currently have sinusitis (inflamed glans under the ear, sudden headache when I move my head forward, blocked nose etc) and have had it a few times in the past but at the same time I have developed an angry red spot on the side of my head which is painful to the touch. The spot is at the top of a protruding vein that I can see running down the side of my face. Is this skin swelling/lesion linked to sinusitis? Thanks, Euan

HI,Dear,Welcome to HCM.
Based on the facts and data of your query,you seem to have acne / boil near superficial temporal vessel on the side of your face.Angry red spot confirms its infection origin.This is furunclulitis and is skin hair follicle swelling and is not linked with Sinusitis.
Remedy-
Antibiotics /Motrin anti-inflammatoryx 5 days would resolve it.
Surgical drainage from surgeon if need be.
So Don't Worry at all.Consult on these lines and if need be treat it according to Suggestions of your Surgical specialist doctor.

During acute attack of sinusitis skin overlying the. sinuses becomes oedematous, red and tender.This persists for sometime.Overlying vein also becomes prominent.
