hello, I have pain and cramping on my right side. it is mostly when I am standing? I had my gallbladder removed about 14-15 years ago. the pain is in about the same spot and wraps around my back. it happens sometimes when sitting but mostly when standing, it eases some when I sit. I am a 42 year old female.
Hi. Read and understood that you had gall bladder removal surgery 14-15 years back. You have pain at the same spot and wraps around your back. increases on standing and eases on sitting. This is due either to Disc compression on the spine or Costo-chondritis. This can be diagnosed by MRI of the thoracic spine and of the ribs at the costal areas. Once diagnosed the treatment can be carried on likewise.
