General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, the abdomen pain and vomiting are secondary to anti tuberculous drug induced gastritis with or without underlying ulcer disorder.

* My guidelines at present

- drink more liquids in sessions
- prefer bland vegan diet
- prescription of anti emetic as ondancetron ( 4 mg ) with sips of water on empty stomach
- proton pump inhibitor as rabeprazole ( 20 mg ) with sips of water on empty stomach
- avoid spices and junk foods
- temporary intake of FORECOX has to be withheld

* Depending upon the results of above, one may have to undergo for upper GI endoscopy further or else.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
