Suggest Remedy For Abdominal Pain Radiating To Breasts

Hi,my girlfriend is having extreme abdominal pain radiating from just below her sternum horizontally to the lower part of her left breast.She ia burping more than normal so I am inclined to believe it is gas pains but has never had it so severe.She had a problem in her youth with her stomach which her son inherited but he had a surgical procedure to correct his.She had to drink goats milk as a baby.She is a 45yo female 5 7 110lbs.

I can understand your concern for your partner. From the symptoms you are describing, it seems that she is having heartburn.

She should take Rabeprazole 20 mg + Domperidone 30 mg (Veloz-D) once a day for 10 days. She can take Digene syrup (Carboxymethylcellulose + Aluminium Hydroxide + Magnesium Hydroxide) 10 ml (2 tablespoonfuls) after every meal and before going to bed.

There are some lifestyle changes that she can apply too. Ask her to avoid spicy and acidic food like chilies, tomatoes, onions, citrus fruits etc. She should keep two hours of gap between dinner and bedtime. She can also take more fibers in her diet and should avoid junk food for a while.

If she does not feel better with this, she should visit a physician for physical examination and further investigations after 10 days.
