Suggest Remedy For Aches In The Legs After Suffering From Torn Muscles
Two years ago I tore my right calf muscle. Since then I have had a dull ache in right leg when sitting which has been getting worse. Have recently undergone 6 months of osteopathy and massage to eliminate fibrous calf. This originalloy helped but seem now to be back to same aching. I wonder if have trapped nerve in hip or lower back. Dr àssures me my blood pressures in ankle same as normal. Can you suggest anything to help please?
It seems issue with ligament pulling during the massage therapy for fibrous calf. Guidelines for better recovery: - Local application of heating pad - Use spray or ointment containing Linseed oil, capsaicin with or without camphor - Anti-inflammatory medications containing Diclofenac, Ibuprofen or Etoricoxib - Control of blood sugar - Avoid certain postural adaptations - Assisted physiotherapy for leg cramps - Maintain proper, sound sleep
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
