I have consulted to the doc 5 years ago. he have suggested to to have isotroin 10mg. since then i am taking that tablet(last 5 yrs) and its v.good and my skin got cleared. I am taking tablet in alternate days. But whenever i stop taking that tablet i start getting acne on my face and in a v.bad manner. Please suggest me what should i do? I dont want to depend on this tablet and how long i have to take this tablet?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have acne which is due to stress, hormonal changes and certain medications and oily skin is an contributing factor for your condition. Isotroin is definitely a very good medication but you should not use it for so long . I would suggest you to clean skin with a lukewarm water twice a day and apply a topical antibiotic cream like neosporin or mupirocin over it twice a day. Do not apply any other cream or oil over it. Pantosal ointment is very effective antimicrobial agent. Apply vitamin E oil at night .If condition doesn't improve in a month then consult dermatologist . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics ( clindamycin) .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
