As per you query you are having acne problem which occurs when sebaceous gland under the hair follicle get blocked as sebum get accumulated in clogged duct of sebaceous gland. As you are already taking prescribed course , go ahead with that if it is not giving you any side effects , you should use it for short term basis only. Long run usage can give you side effects. I would suggest you to wash you face 2-3 times a day with mild soap and warm water to prevent the accumulation of oil ,dust and bacteria on your face. Avoid greasy creams ,use water based products. Don t pick or touch acne. Apply vitamin E at night. If acne still persists consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe ointments containing benzyol peroxide,azelaic acid or retinoids. Sometimes doctor may also prescribe antibiotics. Apply apple cider vinegar then wash with warm water twice daily.
