Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of acne since 2 years which occurs when a pore in your skin gets clogged, usually with debris, bacteria and dead skin cells and causing area to be red and swollen. You can take prescribed medication which is safe to use. I would suggest you to exfoliate gently once or twice a day with a salicylic acid-based exfoliant. You should wash your face using a clindamycin gel with mild soap and lukewarm water. If condition doesn't improve in a week then consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis. Doctor may prescribe stronger antibiotics along with retinoids and isoteritenoin. Apply cotton dipped in tea tree oil to lighten the pigments.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
