Suggest Remedy For Addiction And Over Dependance On Seroquel And Depakote

HELLO i have a boyfriend that has a NOT so good past with heroin and other drugs and alcohol but he went to rehab and got clean. It has been around 2 months since and he has seen a therapist twice. The therapist told him to take seroquel(to help with sleeping) and depakote(for depression/mood swings). I am concerned about all of this because he has such an addictive personally with drugs or alcohol. When he was prescribed these he took them correctly and then he ran out of depakote and hasnt gone to get a refill ...at that time he was great not even taking the seroquel but then he complained about not sleeping and started back his seroquel. I am afraid he is abusing them! All he has been doing for 5days is nod off, sleep constantly, and his eye can not stay open for more than 20seconds. I dont understand depression or taking medication so i have no clue what to do or how to handle it besides the fact i am going to attempt to speak with his therapist ASAP!
