Suggest Remedy For Bleeding And Swollen Knuckles On Hand

Hi, I have cracked bleeding swollen knuckles on my left hand. I've tried several over the counter creams but the problem continues. The skin on my knuckles is dark and hard and it's painful to bend my fingers. The cracks ooze a clear sticky substance and appear to be getting worse. It's only happening on my left hand (I am left handed too). Wondering if this is caused by the dry cold air or could it be a form of eczema. Best to see a Dermatologist or my family doctor?
