Suggest Remedy For Bleeding From Cut In Labia

I was trimming down there (I'm female by the way) using a pair of scissors and accidentaly nicked my labia, it has been about 8 hrs or so and it still won't stop bleeding, I think it's mainly because I keep moving but I wanted to make sure I didnt do something aweful....also how can I keep this cut from getting infected?
