Suggest Remedy For Bleeding Gum When On Pristiq

hi I have been on pristiq for just over 2 months not to many side affects at all other than in the beginning felt very nausic vut that has all settled down but now I have such sensitive gums that bleed constantly and mouth is so sore would this be related to tablets ???

Understanding your concern.

Thanks for your query . The symptoms you mention in query are known to cause by this drug as its side effects . Pristiq is an antidepressant and very sensitive drug ,which has many serious drug interaction with certain drugs. So its very important that it should be taken only under the expert advice.

I would suggest you to immediately consult your doctor about your symptoms and tell him/her if you are taking any other medicine ,so that he/she can evaluate the condition properly and find out solution by suggesting you some alternate or ajdust dose.

For now rinse your mouth with glass of chilled water and warm water alternately . Also apply honey and turmeric powder mix to your lips at night.
