Suggest Remedy For Bleeding In Nose Post A Surgery

My son broke his nose on Sunday the Er put a pack in the right nostril, on tuesday the the ENT doctor took out the pack and put another one in each nostril. Now his right nostril is bleeding off and on about every hour to about 2 hours for about 10 mins. he is soaking at least 3 large paper towel. I was told to pinch and ice pack but it mostly bleeds when he gets in a deep sleep., Any ideas to help

Hi, usually after any injury there will be serous(watery) discharge for next few days and when it mixes with blood clots it looks like bleeding, if it was a traumatic bleed it would have been continuous, not intermittent. If you still feel bleeding is heavy then it might require nasal endoscopy and cauterisarion of bleeding spot by your doctor...
