Suggest Remedy For Blocked Nose,high Temperature, And Bad Breadth For A Six-year-old

Hi.my 1 year old been poorly for few days.blocked nose,temperature of 39 which hasn't been thst high for around 12 hours.he has cried most of night in pain somewhere. Pulling at ears.which I definetly think ear infection but I've also noticed a weird smell off him and his breath smells like fishy sometimes since yest

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that your son is suffering from viral infection leading to stuffy nose, fever, bad breath and pulling at ears can be due to ear infection causing earache..
I would suggest you to consult a Paediatrician and get him evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like blood tests can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
As of now you can give him Acetaminophen to reduce fever and will also reduce pains..
Put saline nasal drops to loosen mucous and drain it off and relieve congestion..
You can give him steam inhalation and use a humidifier in his room..
Give him plenty of warm fluids and sufficient mother's milk..
Give him appropriate rest..
